CLASSES
Blush Ceramic Studio is offering 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 classes in Wheel Throwing and in Handbuilding! These classes teach the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel, and pinch, coil, and slab handbuilding techniques. No experience is needed, but you must be 14+ to take these classes.
Reservations are required and classes times are based on studio availability.
- Throwing Class: $35.00 + tax
Includes: One-on-one instruction for an 1 1/2 hours, tools, clear glaze that I will apply, firing, and up to 2 pounds of clay. If you would like to come in and glaze your pieces with our colorful glaze choices, there is an extra $5 charge for every 15 minutes it take you to paint.
All skill levels are welcome!

- Handbuilding Class: $35.00 + tax
Includes: One-on-one instruction for an 1 1/2 hours, tools, glazes, firing, and up to 2 pounds of clay for a project of your choice. After booking, please contact me and we can discuss project choices.

- Couples Throwing Class: $60.00 + tax
Includes: One-on-one instruction for 1 1/2 hours, tools, clear glaze that I will apply, firing, and up to 2 pounds of clay each. If you would like to come in and glaze your pieces with our colorful glaze choices, there is an extra $5 charge for every 15 minutes it takes you both to paint.

- 4 Throwing Classes: Individual: $125 + tax, Couples: $190 + tax
Includes: Instruction for 4, 1 1/2 hour sessions, tools, glazes, firing, and up to 6 pounds of clay.
3 classes will be spent throwing on the wheel, and the 4th class will be used to glaze all of the work that you created in the first 3 classes. All 4 classes need to be using within 4 months.
All skill levels are welcomed!

- 4 Handbuilding Classes: Individual: $125 + tax, Couples: $190 + tax
Includes: Instruction for 4, 1 1/2 hour sessions, tools, up to 6 pounds of clay, firing, and glazes.
3 classes will be spent handbuilding (1 large project or 2-3 smaller projects) and the 4th class will be used to glaze. All 4 classes need to be using within 4 months.

*Please note that clay handbuilding and throwing projects can take 2-6 weeks to fire depending on the drying time, thickness, and weather conditions. Once your piece is fired, we will contact you to set up a time to pick up your work. If you live in Beatrice, we offer porch drop off. If you live outside of Beatrice, we can offer shipping for an additional fee.
