CLASSES
Blush Ceramic Studio offers 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 classes in Wheel Throwing and in Handbuilding! These classes teach the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel, and pinch, coil, and slab handbuilding techniques.
Reservations are required and classes times are based on studio availability.
- Throwing Class: $35.00 + tax
Includes: 1-on-1 instruction for an 1 1/2 hours, tools, clear glaze, 2 firings, and up to 2 pounds of clay. If you would like to come in and glaze your pieces with our colorful glaze choices, there is an extra $5 charge for every 15 minutes it take you to paint.
All skill levels are welcome! Must be 10 or older with an adult present for anyone under 15.

- Handbuilding Class: $35.00 + tax
Includes: 1-on-1 instruction for an 1 1/2 hours, tools, glazes, firing, and up to 2 pounds of clay for a project of your choice. After booking, please contact me and we can discuss project choices.
All skill levels are welcome!

- Couples Throwing Class: $60.00 + tax
Includes: 2-on-1 instruction for 1 1/2 hours, tools, clear glaze, 2 firings, and up to 2 pounds of clay each. If you would like to come in and glaze your pieces with our colorful glaze choices, there is an extra $5 charge for every 15 minutes it takes you both to paint.

- 4 Throwing Classes: Individual: $125 + tax, Couples: $220 + tax
Includes: Instruction for 4, 1 1/2 hour sessions, tools, glazes, firing, and up to 8 pounds of clay.
Classes will be spent throwing on the wheel and glazing. If there is not time to glaze all pieces, there is the option of using clear glaze. If you would like to come back for a 5th class to glaze, that is an option, and will be priced based off of time spent glazing. All skill levels are welcomed!
All 4 classes need to be used within 4 months.

- 4 Handbuilding Classes: Individual: $125 + tax, Couples: $220 + tax
Includes: Instruction for 4, 1 1/2 hour sessions, tools, up to 8 pounds of clay, firing, and glazes.
Classes will be spent handbuilding learning different techniques (1 large project or 2-6 smaller projects). All skill levels are welcomed!
All 4 classes need to be used within 4 months.

*Please note that clay handbuilding and throwing projects can take 2-8 weeks to fire depending on the drying time, thickness, weather conditions, and if the project needs one or two firings.
*Additional clay and time can be purchased upon request.
